OSGi Community Event

The OSGi Community Event 2010, Sept. 29-30 in London, is centered on real-world implementations and proven benefits of OSGi standards-based architectures. The event, “The Value of OSGi: Here and Now,” is held in conjunction with JAX London 2010 Autumn Edition, and the OSGi DevCon program Sept. 29 is aligned with JAX London’s program.

Program elements will focus on:
•    implementation case studies,
•    benefits case studies,
•    proven guidelines for deploying and using OSGi,
•    migration of existing systems with OSGi,
•    technology-oriented presentations on using OSGi,
•    and other topics of interest, including panel sessions.

The OSGi Community Event program will push past the concepts and possibilities of OSGi technology to drive home the tangible value businesses are experiencing today, “here and now,” with OSGi in their IT infrastructures, products and services.

The OSGi Alliance expects the event to attract enterprise and embedded software architects, IT decision-makers and software leaders as well as developers who are using OSGI as the basis for their next-gen IT infrastructure.
